Job description
Alignment - Provide expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture and modelling, system architecture including integration, and best practices. Lead the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement. In addition, the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise as well as on the enterprise technology architecture. Ensure enterprise-wide alignment by enabling informed decision-making and fostering cross-functional collaboration on architecture and transformation initiatives. Maintain architectural oversight through review boards and design authorities, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives
Technology Evaluation - Conduct Technology Architecture planning to ensure that enterprise architecture remains modern, efficient, and aligned with market and technological evolution. Guide long-term architectural planning in line with regulatory, industry, and technological shifts. Support the establishment of Architecture standards and policy. Govern architecture standards and principles, ensuring compliance with security and related requirements. Develop and maintain strategies and roadmaps for the cloud infrastructure application used in company but not restricted to cloud-native solutions. Evaluate the applicability and value of innovative solutions for improving business operations and IT ecosystems. Advise leadership and project stakeholders on the adoption of new technologies. Support innovation initiatives by identifying technology enablers for future-state capabilities
Design and Implementation - Drive successful digital transformation through aligned design and seamless implementation of technology that supports both current operations and future capabilities. Define and align the current and future-state enterprise technology landscape, identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements that drive business transformation. Provide expert architectural guidance to ensure IT models are aligned with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives. Promote shared infrastructure services and reusable patterns to optimise delivery and reduce duplication
Research - Continuously research and monitor emerging technologies, tools, and architectural patterns relevant to business needs and priorities. Identify and introduce transformative technologies that support digital competitiveness Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments on new or evolving technologies. Benchmark architectural approaches against industry best practices and peer organisations. Translate research findings into actionable insights and architectural recommendations
General Administrative Duties - Contribute to cross-functional initiatives including user requirements specifications, procurement and tender processes, and business case development. Support team development, quality/safety management system (QMS/SMS) compliance, and functional budget planning and monitoring
Minimum requirements
Formal Qualifications
· B-degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
· TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification
Experience
· Seven (7) or more years of experience in any of the following disciplines: enterprise, solution, technical, information or integration architecture which include business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis.
