Introduction
Strategy and Implementation - Support the Chief Business Services and other thought leaders in developing, implementing, and managing the Business Services. Strategy aligned to the vision and culture of the organisation and business strategy of ATNS. Contribute to implementing the function’s operating model, including governance and service management capabilities with the service catalogue and level agreements. Manage and implement the function’s strategy post-formulation to ensure the achievement of the objectives. Set BP team objectives/KPIs and review and assess the ongoing performance of direct reports. Ensure KPIs are met by working to the plan, including managing and reporting on achieving targets and identifying required actions. Drive delivery of the required projects/initiatives within the function’s strategy to be on time, within budget and to the required standard. Lead implementation of processes to collect feedback on how all the aspects per the function strategy are being received in the business. Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with Chief Business Services to develop the required solutions, programs, and policies aligned to the business needs strategies. Gather and analyse relevant data, trends, and patterns and identify gaps and priorities to enable continuous improvement
Operationalise Business Process Align our Business Process continuous improvement process to the Plan-Do-Check-Act Principle (PDCA)quality Kazen methodology that is also aligned to ISO 9001:2015. Coordinate and collaborate business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders. Manage continuous improvements by analysing and evaluating existing business processes. To determine and outline areas of business process improvement opportunities and automation to address bottlenecks and suboptimal processes. Recommend and advise the business about the identified process improvements or changes. Manage and oversee the development of action plans and implement process improvements. Monitor implementation of the business process changes. Manage and oversee all aspects of implementing approved business process improvements, including project scopes and schedules. Monitor and measure the benefits of change implementation. Conduct an organisation process audit and recommend improvements.
Manage Business Processes - Supervise resources and clients across functional areas to deliver and maintain integrated business processes. Oversee training in all aspects of the business process system and integration into departmental working plans and instructions. Produce BP written reports and make presentations for management, Executive, Board or as required. Monitor and measure the benefits of post-process implementation to ensure product quality and efficiency through audits.
Stakeholder Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Evaluate alignment to defined processes by departments. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the departmental strategy. Liaise with other departments, customers, and suppliers service providers. Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, about business process matters
Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management - Participate in the Business Services action Governance process. Compile the relevant policies, processes, standards, and methodologies.
Identify key risks facing the function/ department, develop appropriate mitigating plans and actions, and ensure effective management of risks. Apply proper controls using defined BPM standards and methodology.
Financial Management - Manage, monitor and deliver the departmental budget.
Provide input into the development of the budget, and strive to minimise the cost to income ratio.
Control cost as per the company policy. Input and hold responsibility for departmental section budgets. Responsible for achieving budget and forecast. Manage the budget from identification to completion of business process cycle.
People Management - Manage staff in accordance with HC policies, processes, and practices. Ensure that new employees have been properly on-boarded prior to commencing work. Monitor the time and attendance of subordinates, take appropriate action in the case of absenteeism, and report issues to management and Human Capital. Ensure the availability of skilled and competent staff in the function to meet the current and future needs aligned to the departmental and overall business strategies. Ensure that corrective measures are implemented to address performance gaps, compliance, or process effectiveness, meeting acceptable reliability standards and that documentation and systems are compliant with requirements. Promote high performance standards to achieve the function’s performance targets and strategies through implementation of the organisation’s performance management system. Ensure the availability of skilled and competent staff in the function to meet the current and future needs aligned to the departmental and overall business strategies. Manage and maintain high performance standards to achieve targets and objectives through application of the HC performance management system and take corrective action promptly and effectively when required. Mentor and coach staff as required to ensure continuous development and availability of the always required. Ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills to enable sustainability within AIM from a succession management perspective.

- Post Graduate Degree or equivalent in IT, Project and Programme management or Commerce or related field
- Appropriate QMS/ TQM or Business Process Certification.Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the business process environment or related field, of which 5 years must be at management level
