Job description

Maintain the supplier database. Engage internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs. Maintain relationships with a focus on monitoring Bid Specification & Workflow Management processes that aid in ensuring supply chain stability and efficiency  Prepare and maintain purchase records and reports. Conduct review and analysis of end user specification for goods and services Develop tender documents in preparation for tender advertisements in line with SCM prescripts. Ensure compliance with all procurement legislation, regulations, and practice notes

 Performs routine administrative duties.  Assist the Manager: Demand Management, in the execution of strategies for the promotion of the transformation agenda (BBBEE, SMME, Local content, Black equity/ownership, industrialisation/manufacturing skills development, black youth, people living with disabilities, and black women) in order to develop the indigenous aviation sector. Assist intender administration. Comply with PFMA, PPPFA, BBEE and other relevant government supply chain legislation. Develop and maintain a BEE statistic report. Engage with end users on procurement systems. Maintain supplier database by their current BBBEE scores. Ensure implementation of ATNS procurement policies and procedures

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

  B degree or national diploma in supply chain management or equivalent

 Minimum Experience

 4-6 Years in procurement – knowledge of current BEE policies, PFMA and other relevant government supply chain management legislations, as well as setting up policies and procedures
