Introduction
Applications are invited for the Specialist Knowledge Management (Grade 7) based at Bruma. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Senior Manager: Information & Knowledge Management. To lead, guide and support on the process of creating, identifying, organizing, storing, using, sharing and collaborating collective knowledge within ATNS to improve organizational performance.
Job description

  • Assist in compiling the Knowledge Management (KM) Roadmap/Strategy (including policy and procedures - Develop, communicate, and monitor the adherence to Knowledge Management Policies, and Procedures by ensuring compliance with the ATNS Quality Management System.
  • Implement the KM Roadmap/Strategy (including policy and procedures).
  • Communicate and educate business stakeholders about KM.
  • Assess business KM needs, identify and select relevant KM tools, and implement as per business needs and requirements.
  • Identify / Quantify the business benefits of Knowledge Management
  • Conduct regular reviews of ISO Procedures relevant to the Knowledge Management function and make recommendations.
  • Engage with the business to define knowledge management requirements.
  • Educate the business on aspects of Knowledge Management with regard to knowledge in the organization.
  • Proactive benchmark with other organizations and attend industry events.
  • Identify Knowledge Management systems that are applicable to feed a Knowledge Management toolset to deliver consumable information to ATNS.

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • Tertiary degree in Information Science or Knowledge Management
 

Minimum Experience

 
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience of Knowledge Management
