Job description

Tender Management Process and Administration

 ·       Participation in Bid Specification Committee for compiling Bid Specifications.

·       Review of tender specifications for SCM compliance.

·       Development of tender documents for advertisements.

·       Ensures accurate filing of tender documents.

·       Coordination of Bid Evaluation Committee for process accountability.

·       Facilitation and administration support of Bid Adjudication Committee.

·       Management of Request for Quotation processes.

·       Implementation of sourcing plans to meet quality and delivery times.

·       Provides feedback to ATNS on contract management, expiration dates, and market analysis.

 Supplier and Contract Management

 ·       Maintaining relevant and up-to-date supplier relations documents.

·       Enhancing supplier management processes and ensuring regulatory and SLA compliance.

·       Negotiating with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

·       Communicating SLAs and contracts with suppliers.

·       Preparing and administering contract documentation.

·       Negotiating SLAs and contracts on behalf of ATNS.

·       Reporting on contract administration efficiency and end-user SLA's/contracts.

 Stakeholder Relations

 ·       Building and maintaining sustainable relationships.

·       Gathering and disseminating accurate information.

·       Participating in communication forums and meetings.

·       Responding to stakeholder requests for information, proposals, and bidding processes.

·       Improving business objectives and relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders.

 Team Supervision and reporting

 Champion the skills development and transfer within the functional unit.

  • Produce progress and information reports according to requirements and timelines.
  • Produce reports on expenditure and performance against existing SLA’s/contracts.
       Produce bid committee related reports

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree qualification in SCM or equivalent. 
  • Valid CIPS accreditation will be an added advantage.

 Minimum Experience

  • 4-6 Years in procurement – knowledge of current PPPFA, PFMA and other relevant government supply chain management regulations, as well as setting up policies and procedures.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in practicing Public Procurement Regulation as prescribed by the National Treasury/ PFMA/ PPPFA and B-BBEE
