Introduction
Assist the Head of the Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Office (EPPMO) and Programme Managers in managing the resources of EPPMO to meet the requirements of business units.
Job description
- Support Programme Managers to manage EPPMO resources to meet the requirements of business units.
- Plan budget, organise, direct and control tasks, and people resources to ensure effective delivery of projects.
- Manage assigned strategic programmes and/or projects.
- Monitor strategic programme structure, identifying improvements around resourcing, risk, funding, and dependencies.
- Provide review and revisions to EPPMO methodologies, frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Liaise and facilitate project audits with the Quality and Internal Audit department.
- Support capacity development of project managers throughout the organisation; Engage, coach and mentor ATNS project managers to ensure the application of EPPMO methodologies, frameworks, processes, procedures and tools in delivering programmes and projects.
- Assist ATNS business units in developing Personal Development Plans for ATNS Project Managers and manage continuous project team/sponsor training.
- Monitor career path development of project managers.
- Perform review and analysis of all project proposals, prioritising, selecting and optimising ATNS project portfolio. Facilitate and manage portfolio issues and risks, communication, change control and deliver regular progress dashboards.
- Provide support and administration of the Microsoft Project and Project Server (EPM) system as well as end-user engagements to effectively manage the project schedules and provide accurate project reports to the relevant ATNS Committees and Board.
- Communicate, enforce and monitor compliance with all ATNS processes, policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the required legislative submissions and reports as applicable.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- B Degree in Business management/ Project management /Engineering or related field.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g Prince 2) / PMP
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of programme/project management experience and at least 3 years of managerial experience
- Experience in MS Project and MS Office or other project scheduling tools.
Desirable Additional Education
- Post-graduate qualification, Change Management Certification.
