Job description
· Timeously meet with training ATS instructors to ensure simulated practical training is delivered the approved daily schedule.
· Strict adherence to the approved daily ATS, and Pseudo Pilots personnel Utilisation schedule.
· Set-up training ATS simulator systems system specifications and approved practices and procedures.
· Set-up simulator positions by ensuring that all required resources are available at the positions prior to individual practical training sessions commencing.
· Report and record training ATS simulator system unserviceability in accordance with following ATNS QMS.
· Plan and allocate training ATS simulator system positions, frequencies and intercom channels to individual control positions and associated instructor positions.
· Source, load and plan exercises in accordance with pre-defined training objectives.
· Source and issue practical exercise information sheets to responsible training ATS instructor in accordance with approved training programmes.
· Source and issue practical exercise weather information sheets to delegates in accordance with approved training programmes.
· Attend and participate in pre-briefing sessions with training ATS instructors and delegates.
· Attend and participate in de-briefing sessions with training ATS instructors and delegates.
· Comply with client-specific training requirements when customised training is delivered.
· Continuously demonstrate competence in all training ATS simulator systems by managing all exercises in different training scenarios for various ATS training disciplines.
· Configure training ATS simulator systems to record assessment exercises.
· Deliver quality training support services to ensure that delegates receive training in a fair, consistent and equitable manner in support of aviation safety and ATA training standards.
· Monitor delegate behaviour in the ATS training simulator venues and report undesirable actions to Manager Simulation Support.
· Contributes to the successful application of ATA assessment processes in accordance with ATNS QMS
