Introduction
ATNS is responsible for air traffic control in approximately 10% of the worlds airspace. Over and above traditional air traffic control, we also provide aeronautical information for planning purposes, search and rescue coordination services, the maintenance of a reliable navigation infrastructure, training services, and many more. Job description

Applications are invited for the position of Secretary ATS (Grade 10) based at King Shaka. The successful applicants will be reporting to the MATS: FALE.

 

Major Activities


•        Scheduling of meetings

•       Taking minutes of the meetings as required by M: ATS

•       Distribute the minutes of the meetings within 7 working days

•       Typing of minutes, presentations, letters, memos, facsimiles, agendas and emails accurately and timeously.

•       Diary co-ordination and updating of the electronic diary of the M: ATS

•       Planning and co-ordination of travel arrangements

•       Maintain proper message system

•       Ensure that all documentation for meetings (including agenda, minutes of the previous meeting, etc. are sent to participants timeously)

•       Ensure that the meeting packs are professionally prepared

•       Ensure that the typed documents are typed accurately, timeously striving for zero errors

•       Assist M:ATS with planning ATS budget

•       Accurately and timeously file and archive all relevant documentation, including the cross-referencing of memo and instruction records

•       Accurately and timeously file and archive all relevant documentation, including the cross-referencing of memo and instruction records

•       Safeguard and keep information confidential

•       Ordering, distribution and control of stationery as per the policy

•       Check and process e-mails timeously

•       Prepare and monitor budgets

•       Receive and distribute AIP to stations

•       Process post and receive and dispatch couriered post

•       All other administrative duties as instructed by M: ATS



Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Secretarial Certificate or equivalent

 

Minimum Experience

  • 3 Years Secretarial experience
  • MS Excel (including Pivot tables, data manipulation, graphs, etc)
  •  MS PowerPoint
